I'm actually disappointed. I am REALLY trying not to be. I am trying to embrace where we are, who she is.. and all the things that come along with parenting a 3.5 year old. The good and the bad.

Are you expecting your first baby and nervous about what to expect?
Sylvia and Dirk Van Ziegert (a lil omm prenatal family!)are new parents of baby Nick (born November 2010) and would love to invite you over to their house to hang out for a few hours and shadow them. They are not baby professionals, but are certainly happy to share all the tips and insights that they have gained so far on baby care (breast and bottle feeding, pumping, diapering, sleeping, bathing, baby monitors, baby carriers, etc.). You can call then at 202-248-6917 or e-mail at vanziegert@yahoo.com if you are interested.
Best of luck...

A great workshop from our friends at Tranquil Space...
Join Carol Collins Sunday January 2, 2011 3-5pm for a Yoga and Parenting Workshop!
Take some time in the the New Year to set your intentions! Join Carol and other parents for some reflection, vinyasa flow, and discussion on how you can bring yoga into your parenting. We will use the philosophical base of Patanjali''s Yoga Sutras and translate them into our everyday life as parents. We will flow through vinyasa yoga, reflect, share (optional) and end with a magnificent restorative practice to rejuvenate your energy after the holidays and enter the New Year relaxed and centered.
Omwork BEFORE the workshop: Spend 10-15 minutes observing your child (if you have more than one, do this for each child). Write down everything you observe in a journal. Bring your journal with you to the workshop This is for Parents Only.
Sign up on-line for $30. www.tranquilspace.com
